Item Description:
Here is a very impressive "Arc" floor lamp by the Guzzini brothers of Recanati, Italy. This lamp is stamped and dated to 1974. This is a wonderful piece of modern design and the lamp height can be adjusted from 87.5" to 81". The base is solid marble weighing in at just under 90lbs. The lamp switch is a floor switch that operates in a similar way to a 3-way lamp switch. The white portion of the lamp can be left on by itself, the chrome center or down directional light can be on by itself or both parts can be kept on to provide more light when needed. Overall a very fine piece and a great example of Italian mid-century design.

***Update Oct 4, 2021, *** - As we were doing a showroom reset for October the white portion on the globe of this lamp took a heavy bang and there is now a quarter size nick in the globe. This can be seen in our last photo and as a result, we reduced the price of this lamp dramatically to take this nick into consideration. We are super disappointed that this happened, we do have the small shards that came of the piece and with a good lamp restorer, it could be repaired.
