Description:
Here is a very functional and compact walnut vintage portable gateleg table with 4 chairs made in Romania. This set was manufactured in the 1980s and manufactured based on a 1960s Danish design. Originally intended as a card table when entertaining and now this would be perfect for a smaller home or apartment as a dining table. The table itself has two large drop leaves that can be opened up to give more room for entertaining when needed. The 4 collapsible chairs have brown leather seat pads and fold up for storage inside the table (see photos). The other side has one pull out drawer for additional storage. One leaf does have a mark/surface scratch that can be seen in our photos. The tabletop does have a slight drop where it meets the leaves in the center on both sides and this can be seen in our last photo, it may just need a little adjusment but we decided to leave it as is. Overall this set is in good original condition.
