Description:
Here is a very nice large mid-century mosaic marble and semi-precious stone coffee table handmade in Brazil, circa 1960s. This table is a beautiful piece of mid-century modern design and also a nice piece of Brazilian folk art. The round top sits on a smaller 6 sided rectangular shaped base, this base can be seen separate from the tabletop in our photos. The table is constructed from a resin material and the mosaic design has been placed on top of this material making both the base and tabletop sit solid. This table was purchased from a local estate and the owner’s parents purchased this table in Brazil during the 1960s and had it shipped back to the Central Pennsylvania area. The estate owner believed that this was a custom one of a kind piece made specifically for his parents at that time. After extensive research into this piece, we have been able to find one other rectangular coffee table with a walnut base that showed a similar Brazilian folk art design which leaves us to believe the original estate owner's story is accurate.

This piece is in good original condition and does not show any pieces that are missing or broken.
