Item Description:
Here is a very nice mid-century modern green armchair by Johnson Carper for Fashion Trend, circa 1950s. This chair sits sturdily and has good original 1950s fabric with some slight fading on the sides that show up more in our photos than in person. We would describe the fabric as Bouclé fabric, derived from the French word meaning “curled” or “ringed,” bouclé can refer to a yarn, made from a series of looped fiber, or the fabric made from it. This piece was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected as per PA State law. The peg legs are made from solid walnut wood. Overall this piece is in good original condition.
