Item Description:
Here is an awesome and pretty hard to find black Naugahyde upholstered lounge chair with factory white solid wood frame manufactured by Lane Furniture Company, Circa early 1976. This is the first time in over a decade that we have had the pleasure of showcasing a piece with such great quality craftsmanship by Lane. Based on a simple solid wood construction and upholstered in a similar manner to a chesterfield this piece gives you both high-quality materials along with superior comfort. All tufted buttons are intact and this piece sits sturdily. Showcasing amazing upholstery from every angle and would look great in any home. Overall this piece is in very good original condition, the inner left back corner on this piece does have one small nick in the fabric that does not pose any major issues to the piece and can be seen upon a very close inspection. We did give this piece a full cleaning, sanitized with Sterifab as per Pa law, and polishing to bring back its original look. The base does have a stamp with the month and year of manufacture along with tags showcasing Lane Furniture Companies business reg. number. We did find a partial original price tag underneath the seat with a small portion of Lane’s logo. So based on other pieces from this same estate we are confident that this piece was designed and manufactured by Lane Furniture Company.
