Item Description:
Here is a beautifully restored solid maple credenza model number M 1542 in wheat by Heywood Wakefield, circa 1958. This piece offers lots of storage and at 50" long it would fit perfectly in any sized dining room. On the left behind the tambour door is one height-adjustable shelf and on the right 3 large deep drawers for storing all your favorite dining ware pieces. This piece was stripped, sanded, and refinished in the original Heywood Wakefield Wheat finish. The overall result was good and this piece now shows very minimal signs of use. There is one small hairline mark on the top left side where the wood separated slightly over time. This is common in solid wood furniture and does not affect the structural integrity of the piece (see photos for details). Overall this piece is in good restored condition.
